In order to visit Maruki’s Palace a second time, you must max out the Confidant level with Takuto Maruki by November 18th (11/18). Before Your Second Visit and the Second Visit Although you fight alongside her, she declines to join the party at first and that’s the end of the first visit. The protagonist and Morgana soon reunite with Kasumi, who awakens her Persona Cendrillon. As soon as you enter the palace, though, Kasumi disappears. If the calling card for Kunikazu Okumura is sent on the 2nd, the boss fight for Okumura’s Palace will happen on the 3rd instead, shunting Maruki’s Palace’s appearance to the 4th.Īnyhow, Kasumi will request that the protagonist investigate this mysterious apparition with her. It’s worth noting that while this event naturally happens on October 3rd, this can change. You first visit Maruki’s Palace on October 3rd (10/03) once it appears atop the Odaiba construction site. This is a big part of Maruki’s and Kasumi’s stories, so be patient. Explore the palace and learn more about “Kasumi’s” pastĮssentially, it is not until your second visit to (Takuto) Maruki’s Palace on January 9th (1/09) that she can join your team.

PERSONA 5 KASUMI FULL
Unfortunately, she cannot become a full party member until much later in the game, despite meeting her soon after starting. There’s so much new random shit to do in this game and if you really get into it, your playtime will undoubtedly shoot up exponentially.Amidst the slew of new features in Persona 5 Royal, players can also add the gymnast and phantom thief Kasumi Yoshizawa to their party. Here, you can rewatch animated cutscenes, and even play cards with your fellow Phantom Thieves. The Den has zero impact on the main game, though you do unlock more cosmetics for it as you progress through the story. Speaking of losing hours, Persona 5 Royal also adds in a new Thieves’ Den hangout where you can just spend time decorating it to your heart’s content.

There’s even a whole mini-game involved with the darts lounge, you can lose hours in this game just playing darts. With Royal, the Baton Pass no longer just increases damage you can rank it up so that teammates can recover HP and SP with a Baton Pass as well. You can spend time with your Confidants at any of these facilities to improve their stats, Persona skills, and even strengthen your Baton Pass with them. Most prominently, we have Kichijoji, which is home to a jazz club and a darts and billiards lounge. Outside of combat, Persona 5 Royal also introduces new areas you can visit in Tokyo with your Confidants. If you weren’t a fan of how the main story was structured, or if you thought the main characters were just less developed versions of characters we’d already seen in previous games, it’s highly unlikely that Persona 5 Royal will change your mind on those fronts. With Persona 5 Royal, many of my original complaints with the vanilla experience still stand. While playing it for review, I thought the pacing of the main story was extremely uneven, and the main cast of characters felt like they were just retreading old ground from past games, and were a lot less interesting than expected. I won’t hide the fact that I was less than enthralled with Persona 5.
PERSONA 5 KASUMI SERIES
The Persona series is a remarkable power fantasy, and Atlus knows it –which is precisely why it didn’t take them too long to release Persona 5 Royal, a much bigger and better version of the JRPG from just two years ago. Take control of an impossibly charming protagonist, charm all your friends and teachers at school, and wield an incredible power that allows you to take down bad guys and save the world. Atlus’ Persona series has made a name for itself in the past decade by selling players the ideal fantasy high school life.
